Privacy policy.

The short version: we collect what you give us in our forms and what you create in VYRNA, only to run the service. We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never use it to train AI models.

1. Who we are

VYRNA is operated by Lilyane Technologies Inc., a Canadian corporation incorporated in Ontario and based in Québec.

Privacy officer

In accordance with applicable Canadian and Québec privacy laws, the person responsible for the protection of personal information is Hanane Kelouaz, founder. Access, correction and deletion requests can be sent to hello@vyrna.ai.

2. What we collect

When you fill out a form on vyrna.ai:

• your first name, last name and email address;
• what describes you (student, graduate, working professional, etc.) and, if you provide them, your organization and your message;
• the language of the site you used;
• the date and time of your consent, the exact wording you agreed to and, if you ticked the optional box, your choice to receive VYRNA news.

When you use the app: your profile information, the work you produce in mandates, your portfolio and what you post in the community.

The vyrna.ai website uses no advertising cookies or ad tracking tools.

3. The beta waitlist

When you save a spot in the founding cohort, your sign-up joins our waitlist. It is used only to:

• confirm your spot and send you your invitation and access to the app;
• send you VYRNA news and updates, only if you ticked the box for it (it is never pre-ticked).

The list is hosted in Canada (Supabase, Montréal region). Only the VYRNA team can access it: the website can add a sign-up but cannot read the list.

Retention. Your sign-up is kept until your account is opened. If you don’t open an account, it is deleted no later than 24 months after you signed up. If you unsubscribe from VYRNA news, we stop sending you those communications. Your founding cohort sign-up may still be kept to manage your spot and your access to the beta. If you ask us to delete your sign-up, we delete it within the applicable time limits, except for information we must keep to meet our legal obligations.

Withdrawing consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to hello@vyrna.ai.

4. Why we collect it

• To manage your spot in the beta and the founding cohort, and email you about it;
• to reply to requests from schools and companies;
• to run mandates, your portfolio and the community.

5. Who we share it with

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run VYRNA:

These providers may change as VYRNA evolves. If we change providers, information may be transferred to the new service only for the same purposes described in this policy and with appropriate safeguards.

We never sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

6. AI and your data

VYRNA does not use your information or your work to train AI models. Our AI provider, Anthropic, commits in its commercial terms not to train its models on data VYRNA sends to it. When an AI provider is used, it is only to produce what you request in the app. If we use another AI provider, we choose services whose terms do not allow this data to be used to train their models, unless we clearly tell you otherwise before it is used.

7. Hosting and transfers

Data is hosted in Canada whenever reasonably possible. Some providers may, however, process or store information outside Québec, including in the United States. When required, we assess the risks of these transfers and put appropriate contractual and technical safeguards in place to protect the information.

8. Retention

Waitlist sign-ups are kept until the account is opened, and no later than 24 months after sign-up. Requests from schools and companies are kept for 24 months after the last exchange. Your account data is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data, as described in section 9.

9. Your rights

Under applicable privacy laws, you can request access to the personal information we hold about you and its correction if it is inaccurate or incomplete. Where the law provides for it, you can also request its deletion or that its dissemination cease, and withdraw your consent, subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions.

Where the law provides for it, you can also request that certain computerized personal information you provided to us be communicated to you in a structured, commonly used technological format.

10. Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, a protected database: we apply reasonable measures to protect your information. No system is foolproof, but we work on it continuously.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, the date at the top of the page changes, and significant changes are communicated by email.
